I don't really care how much the latest superhero film took at the box office, although I'd probably know if you asked me. When I watch a film the main thing I am looking for is a good story. I like it when I look up at the big screen and can see a part of me staring back at me. More than anything, I am still looking for Jimmy Stewart and Jack Lemmon and Billy Wilder in every film I see.

Tiny Dancer
This was always a great song. But in 2000, Cameron Crowe put it in 'Almost Famous' - which made the song even better. Crowe has a way of doing that.
There was no commentary!! What's that all about??? Maybe I need to get the special edition or something, but I can't understand why a movie that's based on the writer/director's own experiences wouldn't have a commentary included. Darn!
Almost Famous is one of my favourite films. I love the story, the acting, the way it is shot, the music, the way it makes me feel - everything. It has that one word I long for in a film, it has magic.
You are absolutely write kid in the front row,, but same question here that "Well, what the heck?? Maybe just the normal US version wasn't released with a commentary? That's whack."
Going to look for my copy now. I hope it has a commentary. :)
