Best movie theater in NYC?
Let me know your thoughts, I plan to check them all out. I do like the Angelika, even if you hear a train going by every three minutes! The IFC is great too - seemingly perfect sound and visuals.

The best movie theater in NYC is easily the Ziegfeld on West 54th Street. The screen size, sound and general ambience can't be beat.
ReplyDeleteAs for arthouses, I would say either the Landmark Sunshine or my personal favorite, the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side. The Angelika has a nice selection of films and has it's quirky charm, but it's still a dump.
The Film Forum is obviously my favorite :)
