Last, but not least - my favourite moment...
"Fuller, go easy on the Pepsi!"
Nice. It's good enough to forgive the 2nd film. Just wish they stopped at two.
ReplyDeleteOH MY WORD I LOVE THIS FILM. when I was little and at my gran's for the night I used to "stay up late" til nine and watch it every single time. This post is brining it all back - maybe I should dig it out now? xx
ReplyDeleteYes, you should definitely dig it out. It gets better every time you watch it. I have loved it ever since I was a kid, it's just SO watchable, SO quotable. Movie magic!
ReplyDeletehaha i always have scenes from home alone randomly pop up into my head while i casually go about my day.
ReplyDeletein regards to your poll (which is now closed) can i say that i haven't watched either of the films? haha
I love that scene with John Candy and Catherine O'Hara in the back of the truck when he's telling her everything will be fine, Candy's absolutely great there.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, I love this film but you forgot the old man with the shuvel!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteAh - great movie! I especially loved the scene, when Kevin was standig in front of the mirror in the morning and singing with the hairdryer and putting his daddy´s aftershave in his face. That was SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteWish you a great day today! geisslein
I used to watch that movie all the time. :)
ReplyDelete#1 is my personal favorite.
I love the scene with this "I'm gonna give you to the count of 10, to get your lying, yellow, no-good keister off my property, before I pump your guts full of lead! " For years I thought it was a real movie. I think its the greatest film because I one day also took my sled down my stairs. It was such a ride.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the love thing too. I've been there.
